Workplace neurodiversity training

Develop your teams and be
a neuro-inclusive workplace
I offer organisations:
– Group & all staff training
– Manager training
– One-to-one coaching
Jamie Light Coaching is committed to helping organisations and their employees grow, change, develop and achieve success. We encourage employers to unlock the talents of the neurodiverse members of their team and through doing so maximise their contribution and impact.
Even when coaching individuals or teams, the relationship starts with the company’s agenda, your values and your desire to make meaningful change. Your organisation is fundamentally responsible for its culture and people, and you will make choices about what actions to take and what we work on together.
Great minds don’t think alike. Your organisation has neurodivergent employees, including autistic people, people with ADHD, and those with dyslexia, dyspraxia, Tourette’s syndrome, and other neurodivergent traits. That means much of your talent pool processes information entirely differently from neurotypical employees. Set them up for success, and they will do amazing things for you.
Not only that, but many adjustments that support neurodivergence make it a more inclusive workplace for others; helping people with less experience of your industry, those newer to work, those with less formal education, English as a second language, and those who work remotely. Inclusion is a tide that raises all ships. Learning how to adjust for neurodivergent talent will enable you to optimise:
- Employee engagement
- Talent retention
- Sickness absence levels
- Team performance
- Business growth
Core services for organisations
All staff training
We will educate your entire workforce on neurodiversity and how it manifests itself not just at work, but in people’s lives in general. The goal with this preliminary training is to promote an environment where all thinking styles are valued and understood. Once these strong foundations are laid, the manager training, one-to-one coaching and group coaching will have a more significant impact across all levels of the organisation.
Interactive manager training
Equip your line managers and leadership team with practical strategies to support, communicate with, and maximise the potential of neurodivergent team members. This training helps them to realise the patterns of thought, speech and organisation that will work for only some of the neurotypical workforce. They will learn how their relationship to time, communication, organisation, and interpersonal relationships can create a lack of clarity and misunderstandings with the whole team, especially those with neurodivergent traits.
One-to-one coaching
Personalised support for neurodivergent employees to reduce overwhelm and build their confidence, resilience and performance. Coachees receive a follow-up report summarising discussion points, reflections and takeaway actions. The coaching style is based on neuro-friendly strategies tailored to individual needs, using a personalised, collaborative approach that helps harness employees’ inherent strengths. Our aim is to support staff in managing workload, working styles and working relationships, leading to reduced burnout and increased productivity.
Why choose JLC
Jamie has professional, specialised training through the UK’s first dual-accredited ADHD coaching certification (Association for Coaching and Universal Coaching Alliance). As someone with ADHD and over 11 years’ experience as a corporate marketing leader across finance, technology, health and travel sectors, Jamie deeply understands the daily challenges facing your neurodivergent staff. Overwhelm, task execution and emotional dysregulation can leave them feeling stuck, misunderstood, not performing to their enormous potential, and eventually facing sickness or burnout. No more masking or forcing neurodivergent staff to fit neurotypical solutions. Through personalised support, your employees will break through challenges and find clarity and confidence.
JLC’s team of consultants have a wide variety of experience and coaching qualifications, and are themselves neurodivergent. We hold great knowledge of evidence-based tools and strategies from industry best practices and significant practical coaching and training experience. We are not trained mental health practitioners and therefore cannot diagnose, provide medical advice or take liability for the treatment of ADHD.
